Santa Elena Golf Club
18 Holes · Par 72 · Dave Thomas Design · Fuente Álamo, Murcia
About the Course
Santa Elena Golf Club is an 18-hole, Par 72 championship course set in the warm landscape of Fuente Álamo, in the Region of Murcia. Designed by Dave Thomas — one of Europe's most experienced golf course architects — the course plays to 6,724 metres from the longest tees and offers a varied, engaging test of golf in a genuinely Mediterranean setting.
The design balances open, attacking holes with more demanding stretches where precision becomes essential. Water features come into play at key moments throughout the round, and well-positioned bunkers reward golfers who think carefully about course management. The result is a course that is both enjoyable and challenging across the full range of handicaps.

The Course
The layout at Santa Elena Golf Club makes the most of the natural terrain. Elevation changes give the course variety and character, with long views across the Murcia landscape framing many of the holes. Wide fairways encourage freedom from the tee, but approach play demands more precision — especially where water and bunkering protect the greens. The course is kept in excellent condition throughout the year, benefiting from Murcia's climate and a dedicated grounds team committed to presenting the best playing surfaces possible.
